JEAN PAUL GAULTIER SPRING 2012 COUTURE

Absolutely NOTHING beats couture! Jean Paul Gaultier proves this in his salute to the iconic late Amy Winehouse in his latest collection. Models graced the catwalk in Amy’s signature almost cartoon-like style with cigarettes, big hair, thick eyeliner, and beauty spots galore. Referencing her unique mix of floaty silhouettes, tight bustiers and sportswear, the effect was one of tomboyish femininity.
